Additional steps

If adjusting your browser’s permissions does not fix the issue, we suggest trying the following steps:

  • Clear your cache and restart the browser. Permissions will be reset and you will be asked to grant them from scratch.

  • Restart the computer.

  • Turn off browser extensions (e.g., Adblock) and try opening Studio in incognito mode.

  • Try using another browser.

  • Check if your camera works on our webcam test tool or another website that uses a camera, such as Google Meet.

    • If the camera doesn't function on those sites, there may be compatibility issues between your camera and the browser. Consider contacting the camera manufacturer.

💡 Restream Support is available 24/7 to offer assistance with complex issues.
