Adjust the quality settings for specific platforms without affecting others. Transcoding ensures your stream isn't rejected by channels with lower bitrate limits, while maintaining higher settings on platforms that support them.
How to set up Transcoding
Navigate to your Restream home screen and click "Connect to OBS, Zoom...".
Click the three dots next to the channel you want to transcode and select Transcoding. This option will only appear once you purchase Transcoding hours.
Check the box to enable Transcoding.
Enter the settings you want to reduce that channel's stream to.
Click Save.
Start streaming and your transcoded channels will use the settings you selected.
Requirements
Transcoding is not included in any specific plan. It is an add-on option that can be purchased by the hour on your billing page.
We do not transcode incoming streams of more than 3840x2160 60 FPS.

They are divided. For example, if you've purchased 5 hours of Transcoding, and only use one channel, you can stream for 5 hours. However, if you choose to stream to two transcoding channels, you can stream to 2.5 hours. (2.5 to the first channel and 2.5 to the second channel.)
