💡 You can also publish a clip directly from the editor.

  4. In the pop-up window:

    1. Click the + button and choose Instagram.

    2. Follow the prompt, and once added, toggle the Instagram account on.

    3. Enter a description of your clip.

💡 You can also toggle on Auto-generate captions in your Clips Settings, and it will write captions for your social posts. You can personalize it to match your tone of voice or customize it to suit your preferences.

    4. Then, click Post Clips.

  5. Once your clip is posted, you can follow the prompt to view it on Instagram.

Requirements

  • You must connect to Instagram specifically for publishing. An Instagram account you've already connected to Restream for live streaming will not automatically be available for publishing clips.

  • Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account. If you're currently using a personal account, you can set up a professional account.

  • This feature is also available for TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, X, and Rumble.

  • To post the same clip on multiple channels at once, just toggle on all relevant platforms in the posting window.

  • Clips can be purchased as an add-on. The add-on gets you access to generating:

    • 50 clips per month for $19/month ($16/month if you prepay for a year).

    • 100 clips per month for $29/month ($24/month if you prepay for a year).

    • 250 clips per month for $59/month ($49/month if you prepay for a year).

FAQ

Why don’t I see my connected Instagram account when publishing a clip?

The Instagram connection used for live streaming is separate from the connection used to publish clips.

Even if your Instagram account already appears on your Restream Channels page, you'll need to connect to Instagram again when setting up clip publishing.
