To ensure your stream stays high quality, your streaming software will send a new keyframe every few seconds.

💡 We recommend you set the keyframe interval to 2 for a better streaming experience.

🧐 How to change OBS Studio keyframe interval

Press "Settings" from the bottom Right.

Choose "Output" from the settings window and set the output mode to "Advanced."

Change the "Keyframe interval".

1. Open OBS Studio.
 
2. Press "Settings" from the bottom Right.
 
3. Choose "Output" from the settings window and set the output mode to "Advanced."
