Restream Events is the easiest way to schedule upcoming live events on Facebook.
How to schedule a Facebook Live with Restream Events
From your home screen, click Schedule Event.
Choose how you want to stream: via our Studio, Encoder, Video File, or Playlist.
Fill in your Event details like your title, description, date, and time.
Check the box next to Create an event page on social platforms to notify your audience in advance with an event post on Facebook.
Upload a thumbnail as a custom image to use for the event before you go live.
Toggle on Facebook and all the other platforms you would like to stream to.
Click Create Event.
Requirements
Restream Events are available for all plans, including the free tier, but streaming to Facebook pages and groups unlocks on paid plans only.
Free users will have Restream branding on their event's thumbnail.
Only profiles and pages support creating events via Restream. For groups, you will need to create your events on Facebook directly.
You can only go live to an event once; so don't click Go Live before the scheduled time. If you want to run tests, you can follow this guide.
The announcement post box can only be checked during event creation. If you forgot to check it, you can delete the current event and create a new one.
Each event is unique; enter Studio through the event card or update the event's specific stream key in your encoder. Otherwise, you'll create a new stream.

The maximum title length for Facebook is 255 bytes, which is approximately 255 characters.
The maximum description length is 9950 bytes, which is approximately 9550 characters.
The recommended size for thumbnails is 1280x720.

When you schedule an event on your Facebook personal profile via Restream, the announcement post will not be automatically posted to your timeline. Instead, the new event will be created on the Facebook Events page.
To share the event on your timeline, click the three dots under your event, copy the link, and post it on your Facebook profile.
