Restream's channel editing feature allows you to easily rename your stream and update details like its description and content type.
Update channel details on the Home Screen
Go to your home screen and click Edit Destinations.
Click Edit next to the channel you want to update and insert your preferred details.
Click Save.
Update channel details in Restream Studio
Go to Restream Studio.
To update all titles:
Click the pencil icon on the top left corner.
Insert the details and click Next to apply the updates.
To update each channel individually:
Click the Channels' icons next to the Go Live button.
Click Edit next to each channel, insert the details, and click Save.
Update channel details for Encoders
From your home screen, click "Connect to OBS, Zoom..."
To update all titles:
Click on Update Titles.
Insert the details, and click Update All.
To update each channel individually:
Click the three dots next to the channel.
Select Edit Settings, insert the details, and click Save.
Requirements
Updating stream details before going live is helpful for instant streams. For scheduled streams with Restream Events, these steps are not necessary.
You can update all your channels at once or each channel individually.
Some channels do not support setting up titles from Restream. In that case, a message that says "Title setup isn't supported for the platform" will appear. For these channels, please update your stream details on the end platform directly.

Not at all. This is not an error but just a reminder that the channel will not display a title or description the way our supported platforms do. The stream will still go through normally despite the message.

If a game doesn't show up under the dropdown when updating all channels at once, please let our Support team know and we'll do our best to add it to the next iteration.
