You can use your live stream recordings or upload any video to generate Clips.
How to create Clips from stream recordings
💡 Clips auto-generate for any streams over 10 minutes when subscribed or on a trial. For all other recordings, you can manually create clips using the steps below.
Go to your home screen and click Clips.
Click New Project.
Click on the Recordings tab.
Select your recording.
Choose whether to generate Multiple Clips or Single Clip in the bottom left corner.
💡 When choosing the Single Clip option, it turns your selected time range into a single clip (10 seconds–3 minutes). This is ideal for creating a clip when you already know the exact moment you want to highlight.Click Generate.
Wait a few minutes for your clips to be generated. Feel free to leave the page in the meantime.
How to create Clips from your uploaded videos
💡 Only MP4, MOV, WEBM, M4V, and MKV files are supported. For other formats, upload to your Video Storage first and click Clips on the thumbnail.

Click the Uploads tab.
Select your video.
Choose whether to generate Multiple Clips or Single Clip in the bottom left corner.

How to edit, download, and share your Clips
Go to My Projects on the Clips page.
Click on a project to:
Preview the pre-created clips.
Edit a clip to customize it using our powerful editor.
Download your AI clip.
Publish your clip directly to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, X, or LinkedIn.
Check Insights for previously-published clips.
Add clips to your Favorites to quickly find them later.
When Clips might not work well
Because Clips relies on speech, it works best with streams that include commentary or conversation. It may not perform well if your stream is:
Silent or mostly music.
Gameplay with no talking.
Looped or repetitive.
Requirements
Clips are available for recordings from Studio or an encoder (requires a paid plan), as well as uploaded videos (limits vary by plan).
Clips auto-generate for streams over 10 minutes.
Manually generated clips can be created from recordings and uploads that are 10 seconds or longer.
Clips can be purchased as an add-on with your paid plan. The add-on gets you access to generating:
50 clips per month for $19/month ($16/month if you prepay for a year).
100 clips per month for $29/month ($24/month if you prepay for a year).
250 clips per month for $59/month ($49/month if you prepay for a year).
