The new settings section lets you pick your default preferences for making clips. You can always tweak each clip later, adjusting the look and style to fit what you want.
How to access your settings
From your home screen, click Clips, then click the gear icon next to the header. You can also jump straight there using this link.
Automations
You have two options for automatically generating clips: Autopilot and Live Clipping. Choose one or run both at the same time for full coverage across your stream.
Autopilot
Turn on Autopilot to automatically create clips from each stream's recording after it ends. If you prefer to generate clips manually, you can toggle this off.
Autopilot applies to streams over 10 minutes and is available on all plans.
Live Clipping
Turn on Live Clipping to automatically create clips while your stream is ongoing. The first 30 minutes are processed in 10-minute segments, with each segment generating up to 3 clips, for a maximum of 9 Live Clips. You can start sharing these highlights on your social media even before your stream ends.
Live Clipping is available on the 250 Clips plan, and each clip counts toward your monthly credit allowance.
💡 Need to live clip more than the first 30 minutes? Contact our sales team.
Live Clipping is configured here at the workspace level, but you can override it for individual events or streams, even when it’s enabled globally. Toggle it on or off directly in Studio, RTMP stream card settings, or through the event scheduling flow.
Autoposting for Live Clipping
With Autoposting enabled, eligible clips are automatically published to your selected channels as they’re generated — no manual review-and-post step required. Configure channels, a minimum virality score, a max clips-per-batch limit, and a caption template inside Live Clipping settings.
