Use captions to highlight key points, call-to-action messages, or engage viewers with questions.
How to add captions
Click the Captions tab on the right side in Restream Studio.
Click ➕ Add next to Lower Third.
Enter your desired text and click Add.
Click Show on the caption you want to display.
Click Hide to remove it from the stream.
Requirements
This is a free feature available to all users.
The maximum text length is 240 characters.
You can add up to 300 captions per brand folder.

Can I edit the color or style of my captions?
Can I edit the color or style of my captions?
Yes. In the Graphics tab on the right side of the Studio, select Edit Theme, and you can change the theme, primary color (not available for the Air theme), and font. Any choices you make there will apply to your captions.
Can I reposition my captions?
Can I reposition my captions?
Yes, simply drag your captions to your preferred position on the canvas. This is currently available in landscape orientation and will be available in portrait orientation soon!
When you reposition captions:
Contain, Cover, and Half Screen layouts expand to full screen, using the space normally reserved for captions at the bottom.
With the Air theme, the default caption shadow is removed once captions are moved, as the shadow is designed for their default bottom position.
Once captions are free-moved, you have full control over where they appear on your layout.
