When you stream in portrait, or use dual output for portrait and landscape at once, Studio automatically adapts your layout to fit a 9:16 screen. Your vertical audience gets a view made for phones, not a cropped version of your horizontal stream.
How layouts work in vertical streams
Studio uses one set of layouts for both orientations. The layout you select applies to your Landscape and Portrait previews, and Studio adjusts it to fit each screen. Overlays, graphics, and text appear in both views, though some may sit or size differently in the narrower portrait view.
Choose a layout
Open Studio and add your channels next to Portrait and/or Landscape.
Pick a layout from the layouts bar.
Check both previews to see how it looks in each orientation.
Click Go Live when you're happy with the layout.
