Connect Restream to your Slack workspace and stream webinars to a closed audience.
How to add a Slack channel to a webinar
From your home screen, click the New Stream button.
Select Live Webinar to create a webinar.
Follow the prompts to enter Studio.
Click Connect Slack in the pop-up window.
Follow the prompts to connect Slack and select Allow in the authentication window.
Choose a Slack channel from the dropdown menu or type the channel name to locate the right one.
💡 If you have a private channel, do this before connecting:
Open the private channel in Slack and click its name in the header.
Go to Agents and apps, search for Restream, and click Add.
Return to Restream, and your private channel will now appear in the dropdown.
Click Save.
Your Slack channel is ready to stream. You just need to start a webinar.
Requirements
You need the webinar add-on to stream to Slack.
Streaming to Slack is only available for webinars, not regular live streams.

If you're connecting a private Slack channel, make sure you've first added the Restream app to that channel. Open the channel in Slack, click the channel name in the header, select Agents and apps, search for Restream, and click Add. The channel should then appear when you connect Slack to Restream.
If your public channel is not showing up when you look up the channel name, try using the channel ID from Slack instead. To locate a channel's ID, click the channel name at the top of it and look for Channel ID in the window that opens.

Clicking Disconnect removes the Slack channel from Restream entirely. It will no longer appear under Already added or on your Channels page. To add it back to Restream, you can follow the steps listed in this guide inside your webinar Studio, or through your Channels page.
