Create a live event for a closed audience and invite attendees with a dedicated webinar link.
How to create your webinar
From your home screen, click the New Stream button.
Select Live Webinar to create a webinar.
💡 You can also create a webinar from the Channels menu. Click +Add New and select Webinar Page to open the creation flow in a new tab.
Set the title, date and time, projected duration and thumbnail of your webinar.
'Duration' is used for calendar scheduling purposes only and will not automatically end or cut off your webinar. Your webinar can continue beyond the scheduled duration.
Click Continue and follow the prompts to enter Studio.
Select Copy Link or Connect Slack in the pop-up window, depending on your intended webinar setup.
💡 You can also just close this window if you're not sure yet!
To edit your webinar, hover over the webinar name in the top-left corner of the Studio and click the pencil icon to launch the Edit webinar window, where you can manage all of its settings in one place.
From here, you can copy and share the webinar link and edit the following:
Under Stream details, you can update your webinar title, description, and thumbnail for all selected channels. By default, these changes apply to every selected channel.
To customize the details for a specific channel, click Show to expand the channel list, then edit the title and description for each channel individually.
Under Share event: Your webinar link is always available for quick copying and sharing. Toggle on the reusable link to use the same URL for recurring webinars.
You can also copy an embed code to place the entire webinar page directly on your website. This feature is available on Webinar plans supporting 500 viewers or higher.
Under Permissions: Choose whether attendees need to register, can call in to join as speakers, and can watch the recording after the webinar ends.
Under Registrations, you can enable or disable attendee registration and view all registered attendees for your webinar. When registration is enabled, you can also export the list as a CSV file.
Under Integrations, you can review and upvote upcoming integrations
💡 If you leave the Studio, you can also access all of these settings through your home page, by clicking the three dots on your webinar.
If you plan to stream your webinar to a closed Slack audience, you can follow the steps here to connect a Slack channel, too.
You can also stream your webinar to other platforms, like YouTube. Click + Edit Channels (globe icon) in the top-left corner and toggle on your preferred destinations.
When it's time for your event, click Start Webinar in the top-right corner.
Requirements
Webinars are only available as an add-on and not included in your main Restream subscription.
The add-on is offered across different pricing tiers based on the maximum number of attendees you can accommodate per webinar.
100 attendees for 99 USD per month.
500 attendees for 299 USD per month.
1,000 attendees as part of our custom Enterprise offering.
We recommend sharing the webinar link after you finish customizing your webinar details, so attendees see the correct title, thumbnail, and schedule.
A new webinar link is generated after each webinar ends, so make sure to copy and share the updated link before your next event. If you want a reusable link, toggle on the relevant option under your webinar's settings.

What will my attendees see if they access the invite link before the webinar starts?
Attendees can use the invite link to open your dedicated webinar page. Before joining, they’ll be asked to enter their name and email address.
After registering, they'll see a Thank you page confirming their registration, noting that a confirmation email is on its way, and showing a countdown to your event's start. If the webinar starts within the next 15 minutes, attendees will be taken directly to the webinar page, where they can wait for it to begin.
If an attendee stays on the Thank you page and the event then starts within 15 minutes or goes live, a Join now button appears so they can jump straight in — the same happens if the event wasn't scheduled but is already live.

Yes, comments submitted through the webinar page will appear in Restream Chat inside Studio.
If you are also streaming to Slack, messages can be exchanged between the Slack channel and Restream Chat, too.
For Webinars, registered attendees can now have their names displayed alongside their chat messages when they’ve given Restream permission to collect their registration details.
Chat messages coming from other platforms, such as YouTube, will remain anonymized and won’t display the chatter's name.

Yes, if you turn on Allow attendees to call in when editing your webinar. Once enabled, hosts can invite attendees to join the webinar as guests, and attendees can also request to join as guests.
You can invite any attendees to join as a guest directly from the Chat or the Attendee panel.
If an attendee requests to join your webinar as a guest, you can Accept or Reject the request from the Sources menu or the pop-up notification.
Once the attendee accepts your invitation to join as a guest, or you accept their request to join the webinar, they will appear in the backstage under the Sources menu.
You remain in control of who appears on screen and can manage incoming participant requests from Studio.

Yes. A replay of the webinar is available using the same webinar link. If you streamed to Slack, you can also watch the replay directly from the channel by clicking Watch Replay.
You can manage replay availability from Past streams by clicking the three dots:
Select Disable playback to remove the recording while keeping the webinar event link active. The Watch Replay button will no longer appear on the webinar page.
Select Delete, and the webinar link will no longer be accessible.

Yes. You can invite attendees through the dedicated webinar link without connecting a Slack channel.

No. Pairing is not available for Webinar events at this time. It is only supported when streaming via Restream Studio or encoders.

From your home screen, you can also click the three dots next to a webinar setup and grab the same link under 'Share event' or through the 'Webinar page' button.
To grab the link of a finished webinar, go to Past streams, click the three dots on the finished event, and select 'Webinar page'.

Yes. Webinar hosts can export attendee registrations as a CSV file.
If you wish to view the list of registered attendees before the webinar starts:
Go to your Home screen and find your webinar event.
Click the three dots next to the event and click Registrations.
A window will appear with your registered attendees. Click Export to download the list as a CSV file.
You can also access the list by clicking Edit webinar → Registrations, where you can view your attendees and export the list.
If you wish to view the list of registered attendees after the webinar ends:
Go to Past streams.
Find the completed webinar.
Click the three dots next to the event and click Registrations.
A modal window will appear, and click Export
The downloaded CSV includes:

Yes. Webinar events now include analytics for both your Webinar page and individual Slack channels.
When streaming to Slack, analytics are broken down per Slack channel, so you can see the performance and engagement for each channel separately.

Yes! You can stream your webinar to your dedicated Webinar page and to other platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, or LinkedIn, simultaneously.
Simply add and enable your preferred channels in Studio before starting your webinar.
Your Webinar page counts as one channel, so the number of additional destinations you can stream to depends on your Restream plan.

Both you and your attendees can add the event directly to your calendars. As the host, just go to your Restream home page and click the three dots on the webinar you want to add to your calendar, then select Add to calendar.
Attendees will see a similar button in the registration page.
