Learn how to add your Rumble channel to Restream.

Rumble is a video-sharing platform where creators can upload, share, and monetize original videos across various categories.


How to connect Rumble to Restream

  1. On your Rumble dashboard, click the camera icon in the top right corner.

  2. Click Go Live then Create New Livestream.

  3. Set up your stream's title, description, thumbnail, tags and visibility, then click Next.

  4. Choose from your licensing options, agree to the terms and conditions, then click Submit.

  5. Click Get Streamer Configuration.

  6. From your Restream home screen, click the Destinations button.

  7. Click Add Channels and select Custom RTMP.

  8. Fill in the RTMP URL and stream key provided by Rumble, then click Add Channel.

  9. Rumble is now set up - you just need to choose how you'll go live.


Requirements

  • You need a paid Restream plan to stream on Custom RTMP channels like Rumble.

  • Live streaming on Rumble is only available for accounts that are verified, have a paid plan or have more than 5 followers.

  • Rumble has the following recommended stream settings:

    Video Guidelines

    • Video codec: H.264, 4.1 for 30 FPS; H.264, 4.2 for 60 FPS streams

    • Resolution: 720p or 1080p

    • Rate control: CBR

    • FPS: max 60

    • Bitrate: max 8,000 Kbps depending on resolution and FPS

    • Keyframe Interval: 2 seconds

    Audio Guidelines

    • Audio codec: AAC

    • Channel: Stereo

    • Bitrate: 128 Kbps

    • Sampling Frequency: 44.1 KHz


FAQ

What does "Set your title directly on the streaming platform" mean?

Manually connected channels, like Rumble, do not support setting titles via Restream. You can update your stream's title Rumble directly.
