It's easy to enhance your AI clips and make them even more impactful.
How to edit your viral clips
Start by auto-generating your AI clips; you can learn how to do so here.
On the Your shorts tab, click Edit under the clip you want to customize.
You can navigate to the tabs at the top of your screen to adjust different settings.
You can also use the timeline at the bottom to trim/edit different parts of your video.
How to adjust the style of your clip
Navigate to the Style tab to adjust the look of your clip.
Select your clip's orientation - vertical, square, or original.
Pick a preset for your video. You can use a default one or create your own.
Turn captions on or off and adjust their look.
Enable or disable the use of emojis on your clip.
Toggle on or off the option to auto-crop your video.
Upload an overlay to display on top of the clip.
How to edit your captions
Head to the Captions tab.
Click on any caption to adjust the text.
Click on the emoji icon to add on-screen emojis alongside the caption.
You can also click the
button to translate your captions to a different language.
How to crop your clip
Navigate to the Crop tab.
Use the preview on your left to adjust the selected layout.
You can resize and/or move it around as you wish.
How to add or remove content from the clip
Go to the Trim tab; you will see your full recording's transcript.
Click on the transcript and select + Add to insert a new section to the clip.
Or click on the transcript and select Remove to delete a section from the clip.
You can also go to the Media tab to upload and insert extra files or use default ones.
Alternatively, click the B-roll button, and we'll auto-generate more footage for you.
Requirements
Restream Standard Plan or higher.
AI clips editor is currently available for recordings of Studio streams only.
AI clips + our powerful editor can be purchased as an add-on with your paid plan.
To revert edits, use the undo (Cmd + Z) or redo (Cmd + Shift + Z) buttons.
Your edits will be automatically saved, even if you leave the editor. You can return later and finish editing before the final export.
When you're happy with your edits, click the Download button to render your clip. Once the clip renders, it will be available under the Clips tab in your storage.
You can also click the dropdown menu on the Download button to get a transcript in .txt or .srt format.
