Restream

StreamLabs is a great software option to add more control to your streaming setup and send your feed through Restream to your preferred destinations!

🧐 How to connect StreamLabs to Restream

<a href="https://streamlabs.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Download</a> StreamLabs.

Launch the app and click on the "Settings" gear icon in the bottom left corner.

Select the "Stream" menu, choose "Stream to custom ingest", and select "Restream" from the list of services.

Copy your stream key from the <a href="https://app.restream.io/channel" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Encoder page</a> on Restream.

Head to the StreamLabs menu and paste your stream key in the relevant field.

Switch over to the "Output" section, set the "Output Mode" to "Advanced", and select your preferred "Encoder". Use Software(x264) if you are unsure.

Uncheck "Enforce streaming service encoder settings", switch your Keyframe Interval to 2, and select the main profile.

That's it! When ready, click "Go Live" on StreamLabs, and your feed will reach your Restream account and connected platforms.

6. Switch over to the "Output" section, set the "Output Mode" to "Advanced", and select your preferred "Encoder". Use Software(x264) if you are unsure.
