I can't hear my guest in Studio

Identify and resolve any issues with audio missing from your guests.

Issues with your guests' audio can be easily fixed through a few checks.

How to fix missing audio for Studio guests

  1. Toggle on your guests - if they're still backstage, you won't hear them.

  2. Under the Sources menu, ensure the volume bar isn't turned down, and your guest isn't muted (the speaker 🔈 icon should be white, not red).

  3. Ask your guest to check that their microphone is on and not muted.

  4. Have your guest click the gear ⚙️ icon in the Studio, then select the Audio tab.

    1. Ask them if they've selected the correct microphone as audio input.

    2. They should see green bars if it's working.

  5. If everything is set up correctly for your guest, check your settings:

    1. Click the gear ⚙️ icon in the Studio, then select the Audio tab.

    2. Make sure you've selected the right speakers as audio output.

    3. Right-click your Studio browser tab to ensure it isn't muted.
