Use Restream to broadcast high-quality video into your Zoom Events or Sessions via RTMP.
Enable Incoming RTMP in Zoom
💡 This feature is only available in Zoom Events and Zoom Sessions. You must be the host or co-host to set it up.
Schedule a new event in Zoom Events or Sessions.
On your main events page, click the pencil icon next to it to open the settings.
Click Event content, then Session.
Click the Livestream tab.
Toggle on Incoming livestream (RTMP).
Generate a new stream key or choose an existing one.
Copy the stream URL and stream key.
How to stream from Restream to Zoom
From your home screen, click the Channels button.
Click Add Channels.
Select Custom RTMP.
Fill in the RTMP URL and stream key you copied from Zoom, then click Add Channel.
Zoom is set up - you just need to choose how you'll go live, then start streaming.
In Zoom, join your event or webinar.
In the webinar controls, click More, then Incoming livestream.
In the panel that appears, click Send live to broadcast your incoming stream to attendees.
Requirements
You must have a Zoom Events or Zoom Sessions license, either Unlimited or Pay Per Attendee.
Only the host or co-host role can set up incoming RTMP streams.
Supported on Zoom's desktop app - Windows/macOS/Linux version 6.2.0 or higher.
Recommended upload speeds:
720p 30fps: 4 Mbps
1080p 30fps: 6 Mbps
