Browser Source lets you display content from supported third-party websites directly in Restream Studio. Use it for overlays, alerts, countdown timers, scoreboards, subscriber counters, and other web-based widgets.
How to add browser source
Click Widgets in the sidebar.
Click Add.
Enter a name for the source.
Paste the browser source URL into the Link field.
Click Add.
Select the browser source to add it to your scene.
Click and drag the browser source to reposition it anywhere on the canvas.
Requirements
On the Free plan, you can add 1 widget to each scene. On any paid plan, you can add up to 5 widgets per scene.
Browser Source is only available in landscape (horizontal) scenes.
Browser Source accepts a direct URL, not a full embed code. If a service provides an iframe embed code, copy the URL from the
srcfield and paste that URL.Using multiple animated browser sources may affect Studio performance.

If your browser source isn't displaying correctly, check the following:
Make sure you pasted a URL, not the full HTML embed code.
Some websites do not allow their content to be embedded in other applications. If embedding is restricted, the browser source will not display in Studio.

Browser sources are rendered on our servers where some system fonts may not be available. If your website doesn't load its own fonts, a different font may be used in the stream. To avoid this, you may reach out to the website administrator to add the fonts using Google Fonts or custom CSS.
