Start streaming your gameplay to several platforms, even without a capture card. You'll need the PS Remote Play app and streaming software, like OBS or Restream Studio.

How to mirror your PS4/PS5 gameplay on a desktop

  1. Download and install the Remote Play client for Windows or Mac.

  2. Launch the app and log in to your PSN account.

  3. On your PlayStation, click the ⚙️ gear icon to access your Settings.

  4. Go to System and select Remote Play.

  5. Enable Remote Play by toggling it on.

  6. Return to the Remote Play app and follow the steps to connect your PS4 or PS5.

  7. You will see your PlayStation screen in a window on your desktop.

  8. This window can be used as a source in any encoder, like OBS, or as a screen you share in Studio.

Requirements

  • Some games don't support Remote Play. Games that require peripherals, such as PlayStation®VR2, PlayStation®VR or PlayStation®Camera, aren’t compatible with Remote Play.

💡 Each streaming destination has its own guidelines—follow them to offer your audience the best possible viewing experience.
