Failed payments can occur from both the banks' end and the customer’s end. Customers may often experience payment failure due to a faulty internet connection, entering incorrect payment details, or because there is not enough money in their account to cover the payment.
Why is my payment failing?
Here are some common reasons why payments may fail:
Insufficient funds on your credit or debit card.
You've reached your credit card limit.
Your card is registered in a different country than your Restream account.
The card is expired or cancelled.
Incorrect bank account information is provided.
Payment method is not enabled for foreign, secure online and recurring purchases.
If the payment method you're using fails, you can try one of these options:
Try a different payment method.
It might just be a temporary connection issue, so wait a few hours and try again.
Get in touch with your payment provider to learn more about the issue.
Approach Restream support via chat for alternative payment methods.
Important note: If a renewal payment fails, your account won’t immediately be closed. We’ll try to make the payment again over the next few days.
