FAQ

Where do I set up my stream title and category?

You will set up your stream info on Kick before starting your stream on Restream. You can also edit your stream info at any point during your live stream. It's not possible to update these details on Restream directly.

What is my channel URL?

Your channel URL is a link to your Kick profile. For example: https://kick.com/restreamio

You can find it by going to your Kick homepage and opening the menu in the top right corner. Right click on Channel and click Copy Link Address.

Does Kick work with Restream Chat?

Yes, you can view chat messages from Kick directly on Restream. The reply and relay functions are not yet supported.

Why isn't my Kick stream connecting?

Make sure your settings are within Kick's requirements. If your resolution, FPS or bitrate is too high, you'll fail to connect.

If your settings are fine, reset your stream key on Kick and then update it on Restream.

If you're still failing to connect, go live directly from OBS to Kick. If the same issue occurs even without Restream, please reach out to Kick's support team for help.
