Please make sure streaming is enabled for your YouTube account - you can check that here. Note that it takes approximately 24 hours after you verify your phone number for YouTube to activate your live streaming channel fully.
🧐 How to connect YouTube to Restream
Navigate to your Restream Dashboard and click the "Add destination" button.
Click the YouTube icon and choose whether you want to connect your YouTube channel or a specific YouTube event.
Select your YouTube account from the Authorisation Page and click "Allow".
❗️If you have multiple Gmail accounts, please choose the one that corresponds to your active YouTube channel! A Gmail account does not guarantee that you have a YouTube channel associated with it. Our system may give you an error if you connect an incorrect account, or you may not be able to start/see your stream later.
You will then be redirected back to the Restream dashboard.
If you connect your channel, it will automatically be added to your list of destinations.
You'll see a list of your channel's events if you connect to a specific event.
You are now ready to go live using Restream Studio or your Streaming Software 🎉
