Why is Restream connecting to the wrong YouTube channel?

Make sure you're choosing the correct Gmail account connected to your YouTube channel. If you have multiple, you may be selecting the wrong one.

Try connecting YouTube again through an incognito window in your browser to avoid connecting to a default account.

I'm verified for live streaming on YouTube, so why can't I go live?

Even if you've already enabled live streaming on YouTube, you still need to wait 24 hours to go live. Clicking "Go Live" directly on YouTube will prompt the countdown to begin. We have more info in this guide.

Can I stream to YouTube Shorts?

Yes, by streaming in vertical mode to your YouTube channel. You can learn more about streaming on the Shorts feed here.
