How to add Telegram to Restream
Open Telegram on your mobile or desktop app to gather your credentials.
Mobile:
Select a channel/group.
Click the icon in the top right corner to open your settings.
Select Live Stream in channels or Video Chat in groups.
Click Stream with...
Copy the Server URL and Stream Key from Telegram.
Desktop:
Select a channel/group.
Click the three dots (Mac)/chat icon (Windows) in the top right corner.
Select Live Stream in channels or Video Chat in groups.
Click Start with...
Copy the Server URL and Stream Key from Telegram.
From your home screen, click the Channels button.
Click Add Channels.
Click Telegram.
Paste the URL and stream key from Telegram and click Add Channel.
Your Telegram channel is set up - you just need to choose how you'll go live.
Once you start streaming, go back to the Telegram app and click Start Streaming.
To end the stream, tap the red Leave button on Telegram. Check the circle next to End Video Chat, and then tap Leave.
Once the stream ends on Telegram, you can also end it on Restream.
Requirements
Streaming to Telegram is available on any of our plans, including the basic tier.
You need to be the owner/admin of the group/channel to be able to stream.
Each channel and group has a different stream key - make sure to update the right key in your channel before you start streaming.
