If you're unable to stream on your Facebook page and see the error message "You can't go live on Facebook yet," it's because you do not yet meet the criteria to go live.

Requirements

To go live on Facebook, your account must be at least 60 days old. Additionally, your Page or professional mode profile needs at least 100 followers. Keep growing your presence and try again later if you don’t meet these yet.

In the meantime, you can still use Restream to stream on other supported platforms, like YouTube or LinkedIn. You can even share a link to your YouTube or LinkedIn stream on your Facebook page to keep your followers engaged and updated.

Additionally, you can still connect and stream to other Facebook channels, like your profile or a group.

FAQ

Can I go live on Facebook directly?

If you attempt to go live on your Facebook page on your desktop, you'll receive a similar error as above. However, Facebook says you can still go live from a mobile device.

Can I stream with a Custom RTMP channel?

No. You would not be able to access the Live Producer on Facebook to gather your RTMP URL and Stream Key.

💡 Don't let an error halt your content; grow your audience on other channels.
