The Website Video Player allows you to stream directly on your website in addition to your social platforms. Reach your viewers and clients at the best place - your home page π

βοΈ Requirements
Website embed player unlocks at Premium plan with 1000 concurrent viewers and extends to Business plan with 10,000. Concurrent viewers are your website visitors who can watch the live stream simultaneously.
You can choose to use a static embed code for all streams or set up a specific embed code for a Restream Event. If you want the embed code to be tied to a specific event, you need to get a new one set up each time!
Recommended Encoder Settings
The maximum allowed bitrate is 12,000 kbps.
Keyframe interval should be strictly no less than 2 seconds.
30 frames per second.
Latency is 20-30 seconds.
If you're using the website video player for the first time, click the "Embed Stream" button to activate the feature before going live! If you missed clicking the button and you already started streaming, you'll need to restart your stream.
π§ How to stream to your website via Encoder
Navigate to your Restream Dashboard and click the "Set up for OBS, Zoom etc." button.
Press the Embed Stream button and copy the code for adding to the website.
π‘ Please note that you will need to edit the HTML of your website to add this to the desired page depending on how your website is hosted.
Once the code is copied and embedded, the website preview will show an "Offline" screen.
The live stream will start on the website when you start the broadcast in your encoder.
π‘ If you copy the wrong code or reach the limit of your concurrent viewers, the website player will display the error message "Can't play this stream".
π§ How to stream to your website via Studio
Navigate to your Restream Dashboard and click the "Stream with Studio" button.
Open Studio settings and press the Embed stream button.
Copy your Embed URL and embed it on your desired website.
π‘ Please note that you will need to edit the HTML of your website to add this to the desired page depending on how your website is hosted.
Once the code is copied and embedded, the website preview will show an "Offline" screen.
The live stream will start on the website when you start the broadcast in Studio.
π‘ If you copy the wrong code or reach the limit of your concurrent viewers, the website player will display the error message "Can't play this stream".
π Pro Tips
You can select and upload a thumbnail for your preview! Recommended size is 1280 x 720.
You can also toggle on or off the option "Show viewer counter", depending on whether you want your web player to display the number of people watching!
