Scheduling events is now possible from your home screen, as well as from inside your Studio or RTMP stream.
Schedule from your home screen
If you see an event card from your previous stream, use it to schedule your next event.
Find the event you want to recreate on your home screen.
Click the three dots in the top right and choose Schedule.
Fill in your event's details, activate your preferred channels, and click Create Event.
💡 The same event card and setup from your previous stream have now been re-used and scheduled for your upcoming event.
Alternatively, use Duplicate to create a separate new card and schedule it as an event without changing the original.
If you have an event card from a past stream that you don't need, you can delete it from your home screen. This will not delete your stream replay on platforms like YouTube.
How to schedule from Restream Studio
If you don't want to use an existing Studio card or if you don't have one yet, you can create a new Studio stream from scratch.
From your home screen, click New Stream and select Studio.
You can now set up the look of your stream; any changes you make will be saved.
When you’re done, click the Schedule button in the top right corner.
You can always come back to your event after scheduling and finish setting it up later.
How to schedule from your RTMP page
If you don't want to use an existing RTMP card or if you don't have one yet, you can create a new RTMP stream from scratch.
From your home screen, click New Stream and select RTMP | Encoder.
Click Schedule.
You can always come back to this page later and gather your RTMP credentials.
How to schedule video files and playlists
Click the New Stream button.
For video files: select the video file you want to schedule, then click Next to move to the scheduling menu and follow the prompts to create your event.
For playlists: select multiple video files and click Add to Playlist. You’ll enter a Studio view where you can reorder your videos and customize your playlist. When you’re done, click the Schedule Stream button in the top right corner and follow the prompts to create your event.
💡 Playlists can also be re-used and scheduled from your home screen using the first method.
How to start your live event
Restream Studio
Locate your event on your home screen and click Enter Studio on the event card.
When you're ready to begin, click Go Live.
You can click "Channels" to double-check if the correct destinations are toggled on.
RTMP | Encoder
Locate your event on your home screen and click RTMP Setup on the event card.
Copy the URL and stream key and paste them into your streaming software.
Start streaming from your software.
Video Files and Playlists
You don't need to do anything - your event will automatically go live at the scheduled time. If you have connected any channels that require a manual start, like TikTok or Instagram, please click the Go Live button on the end platform, too.
Requirements
Scheduling events is available for all plans, including the free tier, but free users will have Restream branding on their event's thumbnail.
Studio events, RTMP events, and Playlists are reusable. You can learn more about reusable stream drafts here.
Don't go live before the scheduled time. You can follow this guide for testing.
Only Facebook profiles and pages, YouTube, and LinkedIn support creating event posts in advance. For other platforms, your stream will show up once you're live.
The announcement post box can only be checked during event creation. If you forgot to check it, you can delete the current event and create a new one.
The recommended size for thumbnails is 1280x720.

Going to the home screen or your Past streams,
Clicking the three dots on the event card,
Selecting Duplicate.

Yes, you can invite guests to your Studio event by clicking the Invite Guests icon on your event card on the home screen.
The invitation link for every event card is static and will not change. That way, you can share it weeks in advance.

No. When you unschedule events on Restream, posts about the event on Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn will not be removed automatically. You’ll need to delete these posts manually on each platform.
Deleting finished events on Restream will also not affect the streams and saved videos sent to end platforms.
