Teams help simplify live video creation and manage BIG audiences. It’s an easy and secure way to invite team members to your Restream account, assign production roles, and co-host live videos.

It’s easier to reach your business goals, such as getting more views or monetizing your audience, when you are working as a team.

How to create a Team:

  1. From your Dashboard, open the Teams menu and click Create Team.

  2. Give your team a name, then click Save.

  3. Click Invite Member and enter the email of the person you'd like to add to your team.

  4. Select whether you want them to be an Admin or Co-host and click Send Invite.

How teammates access the Team account:

  1. The invitee will receive an email. If they don't have a Restream account yet, they will be asked to create one once they receive their team invitation.

The account is free for team members. No payment is required.

  2. After the invited team member accepts the invitation, they can switch to the team account by opening the menu in the corner of the Dashboard.

Once switched over, they can access the team owners’ account and see their events, RTMP Settings, enter Studio, etc.

Helpful tips:

  • You can only create one team of your own, but you can be part of an unlimited number of teams.

  • If you are a team owner, your personal account becomes a team. You can't switch back and forth.

  • If you are an admin or co-host, you can switch between the teams you joined and your personal account.

  • You can remove a team member by clicking the X next to their email. You can delete your team entirely by clicking the Remove button. Note that this will deactivate all the existing and pending teammates and this action can’t be undone.
